Post Life Transfer has a new face.

The recharge was decreased, and it's now AOE. I'm rather tempted to take my blood neceomancer for a spin again.

Besides area degen, would you get 3x the regen from a group, or just the +8 from one target?

Haven't tested it yet, but I'm fairly sure you only get the regen once.

At least the "certain warriors" that use Defy Pain will stand a better chance too. :P

You gotta spec into a bad line to use it. It's still bad in PvE. It'd be decent in some PvP if the rest of Blood's skills were more useful.

The buff wasn't enough to make me use it.

tough call but a pretty remarkable buff, still not feeling any love for blood magic personally

...Not really.
Maybe in later PvE, but NOT early PvE or PvP.

Default Death Kaster has ideas!

I would carry this everywhere if life siphon cast a lil faster. Still fun overall and you get max effect at 14 blood so that leaves more options for what skill you run with it. Water magic is looking kinda sexy, and toss in hexors vigor to go.

true SS still owns, but life transfer does mass AoE, which makes it more potent, i took Life Transfer out for a spin, and yes even though the degen is mass, the regen is only once. It was looking high, i thought it would be great for a necro to have up +42 regen, lmao

Elite Hex Spell. All foes adjacent to target foe suffer -3...7...8 Health degeneration for (6...11...12 seconds). You have +3...7...8 Health regeneration.

-doesnt say it's +x hp regen per foe

i was curious about life transfer's change myself. i wanted to find out if the regen stacked with each hex foe and it does. i tested it with literally no points in blood magic just to make sure. but as we all know, its rather pointsless once you reach max regen, unless of you are suffering from degen. but the real winner out of the necro skill buffs was vampiric spirit and it is almost certain to get nerfed, probably as soon as i wake up tomorrow. in it's current form, it could probably own spectral agony with half infusion on the caster.

Well, that can easily make for +20 health regeneration, good luck degen'ing that.

you could use a 40/40 set for a quicker cast of [life siphon]. or you could invest some points in curses and throw in [suffering] too. or you could use the also-recently-buffed [radiation field]. or you can use a mesmer hex + [cry of pain]...
options are there...

Because everybody gives two shits about how effective something is in Ascalon and the respective arena.
